• Early Voting for the General Election: Thursday, October 24, 2024 through Thursday, October 31, 2024. Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

The Carroll County Board of Elections is committed to ensuring that all eligible voters in our community have fair and equal access to the polls. As part of this effort, we maintain a contact list of individuals and organizations who wish to be notified about local board meetings at which proposed changes to the locations of polling places will be discussed.

If you want to be notified when the board will discuss polling place changes, fill out this form. You will be contacted at least one week prior to the meeting date.

• The public can also join in-person at the Robert Moton Building located at 300 S Center Street, Westminster, MD 21157. The meeting will take place in the Robert Moton Room. It's the first room to the right past the lobby.
  
• Members of the public may address the Board, pursuant to the procedures outlined in §3.2B of the Board’s bylaws, which require public participation at a meeting to be pre-scheduled and pre-approved by the President. To request approval to speak at a board meeting, contact Erin Perrone at 410-386-2081 or by email erine.perrone@maryland.gov no later than 5 pm the day before the meeting. All public comment is subject to the discretion of the Board and is limited to three (3) minutes.
• Closed Meeting: A portion of the meeting may be closed in accordance with the Open Meetings Act, Title 10, Subtitle 5, section §3-305(b).
• The Board of Canvassers may convene after the Board Meeting to reject mail-in ballots received after the certification of the 2024 elections.
