Important 2024 Presidential Primary Election Information:
Candidate Filings begin on Thursday, January 19, 2023. Two seats for the Board of Education will be open. Appointments to file for the Board of Education can be made
. All other offices appearing on the 2024 ballot will file for office at the
Maryland State Board of Elections
. The deadline is Monday, January 22, 2024.
Tuesday, May 14, 2024, 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Early Voting for the Primary Election: Thursday, May 2, 2024 through Thursday, May 9, 2024. Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Tuesday, November 5, 2024, 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Early Voting for the General Election: Thursday, October 24, 2024 through Thursday, October 31, 2024. Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Members of the public may address the Board, pursuant to the procedures outlined in §3.2B of the Board’s bylaws, which require public participation at a meeting to be pre-scheduled and pre-approved by the President. To request approval to speak at a board meeting, contact Katherine Berry at 410-386-2958 or by email
no later than 5 pm the day before the meeting. All public comment is subject to the discretion of the Board and is limited to three (3) minutes.
The Board of Canvassers may convene after the Board Meeting to reject mail-in ballots received after the certification of the 2022 Gubernatorial Primary and General Elections.
