Mail-In Voting Deadlines

The deadline to ask for a mail-in ballot depends on how you want to get your ballot.

If you want to get your ballot through the mail or by fax, your application must be received (not just mailed) by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, via mail request OR by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, via email/fax request.
If you want to get your ballot via the internet, your application must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, via mail request OR by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, November 1, 2024, via email/fax request.
If you hand deliver your application and the ballots are ready, you can pick up your ballot at the Carroll County Board of Elections office by 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
All Mail-in Ballot Drop Boxes and Polling Locations close at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
